Our staff includes registered and licensed practical nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians, and home health aides among other specialists. Licensed in Louisiana, Modern Home Health & Hospice accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance coverage and private pay.



Guidelines to help patients determine whether or not they may qualify for home health services have been established by Medicare. Under those guidelines, a patient should:



- Be confined to their home

- Be under the care of a physician

- Must be receiving healthcare services under a care plan established and then reviewed by their physician on periodic basis

- Should be in need of skilled nursing care on an intermittent basis or must need physical therapy, speech-language pathology, or have an ongoing need for occupational therapy
